Parents,
We REALLY need your help!!! We simply need more volunteers!!! Pinellas Park United expects tremendous growth over the next few years. In an effort to keep registration fees at a minimum and still provide a quality program for our children, a Volunteer Participation Program (VPP) has been established at Pinellas Park. At registration, all families will be required to sign up to do a certain amount of hours of volunteer time. The VPP applies to both Recreational and Competitive level players. The volunteer time for Recreational Soccer is three hours per family; while the volunteer time for Competitive Soccer is 10 hours per player(s). Your volunteer time will try to be scheduled around your child(s) game times. An authorized Pinellas Park Board Member will record your volunteer time upon completion. There is the opportunity to reschedule ONE time if you are unable to work your assigned volunteer time.
If you do not work your assigned volunteer time and have not rescheduled your time then you will be invoiced for $100 for non-participation for Recreational Soccer and $20 per hour for Competitive Soccer. This will also prevent your child from finishing the season until payment has been received.
Areas where Volunteers are needed:
COACH
Managing and practicing with groups of 4 to 18 players - depending on the age group. The coach teaches the skill of soccer and game knowledge. Clinics (free of charge) are available to help you with all aspects of coaching.
ASSISTANT COACH

BOARD MEMBERS
We are always looking for people who want to be a little more involved with soccer. There are many matters that have to be dealt with that do not take place on the field. This is a way to help out for the good of soccer.
AT LARGE BOARD MEMBERS
AT LARGE BOARD MEMBERS help operate Pinellas Park at the Pinellas Park Fields. You may accumulate hours based on tasks assigned as an AT LARGE BOARD MEMBER.
(i.e. Uniforms, Annual Tournaments Committees, etc.)
FIELD LINING
These positions are important because our fields set the stage for all soccer games. Your help is needed to maintain the fields, mark them, set up/take down nets, goals, and corner flags.
CONCESSION STAND
Volunteers in the concession stand will be responsible for assisting in the food preparation and/or distribution of food to our many patrons. Shifts will be 2-3 hours in length per assignment. Tasks could include but not be limited to: coffee station, microwave station (pretzels, bagels, corn dogs, popcorn, etc.), hot dog station, and the cooler station. Other tasks include start-up and closing tasks as well as re-stocking inventory. This is a fun place to work and meet the parents of our children playing soccer.
