GYSA was established to provide a non-profit publication education and competition to promote good sportsmanship for and from all involved in youth soccer, to encourage the conducting of courses through instruction and clinics of training for the purpose of increasing the knowledge and efficiency of those involved in youth soccer, regardless of race, color, national original, religion or sex.
The association is affiliated with the (USYSA) United States Youth Soccer Association and through the (FYSA) Florida Youth Soccer Association.
The area represented by GYSAis located in District 2, Region C of the FYSA.
