FC TAMPA BAY ROWDIES RELEASE 2010 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE

FC Tampa Bay Rowdies announce the release of the 2010 inaugural regular season schedule.  FC Tampa Bay, a member of the North American Soccer League (NASL), will play their first game on April 16 against Crystal Palace Baltimore at the UMBC Stadium.   

The season home opener for the team will be on Saturday, May 8, against the Austin Aztex at George M. Steinbrenner Field.  Following in the tradition of Tampa pro soccer, FC Tampa Bay will play on Fourth of July at home against rival Miami FC. 

From April 10 to October 3, each team will play 30 regular season games, hosting 15 home games.  The first round of the playoffs will begin the weekend of October 8 with a two-game home-and-away series format. FC Tampa Bay will also compete in the annual Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup during the summer months against NASL and Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs.
